When a homeowner books "snow removal," what they normally get — and want — is a blend: the driveway and walkway plowed or blown clear, the steps shovelled, the snow piled neatly out of the way, and often salting on top. When you would actually need snow hauled away
There are a few real cases where a homeowner needs true removal, not just plowing:
- No room left to pile. After a heavy winter, the snowbanks can grow taller than the driveway is wide, and there is nowhere to put the next storm's snow.
- Sightline or safety issues. On a corner lot, a piled bank can block the view of the road.
- Short, walled, or fully paved lots with no lawn or margin to hold snow.
