About this service
A well-designed garden bed can transform an ordinary lawn into a standout property. We work with you to design beds that suit your home's style, your maintenance preferences, and the growing conditions in your yard. Every installation includes soil preparation, plant selection, installation, mulching, and a watering plan. We work with shrubs, perennials, ornamental grasses, and seasonal flowers — or a mix of all four.

How it works
Consultation
We walk your property, assess sun exposure, soil drainage, and existing features. We discuss your style preferences and maintenance appetite.
Design proposal
We propose a plant selection and layout — typically 1–3 options. No CAD drawings for smaller jobs, but a clear verbal + walkthrough plan.
Bed preparation
Existing weeds removed, bed edges defined, soil amended if needed (we often add compost and topsoil).
Installation
Plants are installed at proper spacing and depth for healthy establishment. We account for mature size — gardens that look sparse at first will fill in.
Mulch and edge
3 inches of premium mulch applied, weed barrier where applicable, bed edges cleaned and defined.

How long does installation take?
Most residential garden bed installations are completed in a single day. Larger or complex projects may take 2 days.
Do you handle maintenance after installation?
Yes — we offer annual maintenance plans that include seasonal pruning, weeding, and mulch refresh. Ask when booking.
What kind of plants do you use?
We source from local nurseries and use plants proven for Ontario's climate. We avoid invasive species and choose varieties appropriate for your specific conditions.
What if I have deer or rabbits?
We know which plants are deer-resistant and which aren't. If you're in an area with deer pressure, we'll recommend accordingly.
